The BC Energy Regulator (Regulator) is seeking an interested party to assist the Regulator in the transformation of telephony services from on-premises to Microsoft Teams Telephony. The Regulator is licensed at an E5 level. Certain foundational elements of M365 have already been implemented and this project is aimed at extending the capabilities to address telephony aspects of a modern workplace.

Yes we are interested in direct routing as per Project Scope item 2. Direct Routing & Porting.
We are interested in alternatives to Microsoft for our data plan with a company that can help us make the transition away from on premise telephony equipment to a complete VoIP solution.
We intend for the majority of users to use a headset with their laptop – We have a few individual positions (Front Desk, Exec Admin) that will require hardware.
We are not interested in SIP trunking or maintaining on premise hardware. The main criteria is a data plan for Teams telephony with E5 Licensing.
This is our current count coming from our on-prem Cisco system- We would plan on the 446 and some unassigned to address growth – We would expect a recommendation on % over current for ongoing requirements.
Low level complexity. We have a ~ 5 hunt groups and a few potential custom set ups for our Executive Assistants.
